The Best Connection are currently looking for a Machine Setter/Operative to join our clients team based in Tonbridge Kent for a full time ongoing role.

Our ideal candidate will need to be qualified to a minimum of HNC in Electrical Engineering or have completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment and resources to ensure the plant is running efficiently.

The working hours are FANTASTIC - *Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm *- occasional need for flexible 6am starts. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract.

On-site mentoring to assist your development. At the end of the 6 months, if you have impressed, you could be offered a permanent role within that client.

An understanding of the construction industry, including trades, materials, processes and safety. General knowledge of the construction industry.

Plumbing/heating: 5 years (required). 5 years of plumbing and heating experience within a domestic setting. Carrying out routine servicing of boilers.

Reporting directly into the CEO. Strategise, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organisational objectives.

You will be working on a new build site painting mainly wood.*. Proof of Address or National Insurance Number.
