Having been established globally for a number of years and reached the UK nearly 20 years ago and have gone from strength to strength with winning contracts and expanding their workforce to reflect their growth within the market.The office is based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire but ideally you will be located close to Reading, Basingstoke, Bagshot, Guildford areas or nearbyRoleMy client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join the business covering the South of England area.Ideally the successful candidate will be based in the Basingstoke / Reading / Bagshot / Guildford area to enable easier access across their covering area.A company van is provided and all fuel costs are covered and work will be sent to you via smart phone / email (also provided)Day to day duties will involve working alongside other engineers sometimes and sometimes working alone visiting commercial, industrial and customer sites (hotels and similar) to service, maintain, trouble-shoot, fault find, repair and complete PPM on a variety of different Air Conditioning Units, AHU's and Heats pump units.You will be on call 1 week in 4, you will receive extra payments of £110 for being on call and if you are actually called out you will be paid at x1.5 rate Monday - Saturday and at double time if on a Sunday.Callouts are not normally very frequent but all engineers must become part of the standby call out team.Candidate RequirementsExperience of working with Air Conditioning units / heat pumps / AHU's is essentialYou should be happy to travel on a daily basisYou should be able to work both alone and with a colleague You should have a good knowledge of Health and Safety requirementsYou will be customer facing so a can-do positive attitude providing good customer service at all time is essentialAbility to think on your feetPlease send your CV or apply through the link below. , Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
