ENGIE are recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer to be based at Bombardier, Litchurch Lane, Derby, DE24 8AD. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00 Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standards. Ability to measure, work to plans ( method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/ skill Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H & S & environmental regulations. Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance, through PPM programme as appropriate, identifying any additional works required to meet fit for purpose standards. Provide out of hours cover in accordance with roster. Administer and complete relevant paperwork for all assignments and forward to the office for filing. Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience: Experience within a similar role/environment is essential Computer literate with good skills in word, excel, email, internet etc Able to work on own initiative Good knowledge of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, work permits etc Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship or other similar approved training or further education qualifications in an appropriate discipline Minimum air conditioning engineer qualifications to City & Guilds 2072.
