Exi-tite is recruiting an Air Conditioning Commissioning and Technical Support Engineer to work across the full range of HVAC products offered, emphasising refrigeration-based ranges and air handling units.The position will be based at the Exi-tite Mallusk office, Belfast and will involve travel across the U.K. and Ireland.The position will report to our Senior Technical Engineer with day to day roles that will include remote and on-site technical assistance, commissioning of air conditioning / chillers and air handling units, and working with current design and sales engineers - relaying specific product information.A successful candidate will hold qualifications in refrigeration-based disciplines or demonstrate relevant experience and hold F.G.A.S. category one certification. The familiarity of psychometric design and a good technical knowledge of air conditioning, water chillers and domestic and commercial air to water heat pumps are essential.Fundamental understanding of HVAC requirements within buildings, associated electrical requirements, control elements and B.M.S. integration are also deemed essential for the role.A committed interest in the HVAC sector is expected to allow the candidate to maintain a working knowledge of the market and legislative changes. Good communicative skills and experience with Microsoft Office are desired.A clean driving licence is required as well as flexibility for European travel to undertake manufacturer training.The closing date for application is 5th April 2021No Agencies Please
