Sellick Partnership are actively recruiting to an Accounts Assistant on an interim 13 month basis, reporting directly to the Assistant Finance Manager, providing a high quality and in depth financial management and support service. The post holder will support the Assistant Finance Manager to provide a comprehensive, management accounting service, to the budget holders assisting in monthly reconciliations, coding invoices, raising invoice and credit note request, budget setting, monitoring and review.Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant Interrogate and produce financial information and reports using a range of computerised systemsAssist the Assistant Finance Manager to develop and maintain clear filing systems,, ensuring adequate audit trailsDevelop a detailed understanding of the finance systems to ensure the ability to assist in the production of a variety of information to support the needs of the budget holdersDevelop an understanding of budgets, with regular feedback to the Finance AnalystEnsure coding of all invoices within own area of workDetailed working papers to provide adequate audit trailsAssist the Assistant Finance Manager in meeting all deadlines for budget settingRequired skills and experience of the Accounts Assistant Working towards a recognised accounting qualificationExperience of working within a busy management or financial accounts officeKnowledge of financial accounting proceduresEffective interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in wilting, work well in a team and able to act on own initiative with minimum supervisionGood interpersonal skills with the ability to deal confidentially with budget holdersStrong written and oral communication skillsIf you believe you have the necessary skills and experience for the Accounts Assistant role, please apply nowSellick Partnership is a market-leading professional services recruitment specialist operating across the UK.
