Able Seafarer Deck/Engineer (Pipelay construction vessel)

Qualifications: 4 years as Rating for covering expert Able Seafarer Deck or Engine positionAt least 2+ years experience onboard pipelay construction vessel Willing to work on 10weeks/5weeks rotationUpdated and complete CoC and STCW certifications and BOSIET (must be detailed on CV) Deck Carry out maintenance and repair of all the mechanical production equipment in a safe manner.Carry out the maintenance and repair of all pipelay equipmentCarry out the maintenance of the cranes and winchesCarry out the maintenance and repair of the ILT, Hydraulic and diesel hammer, pumps of Hydraulic power pack, air compressor and diesel enginesEnsure housekeeping in the working areaComply with the pollution prevention / mitigation proceduresParticipate to the daily Tool box talk meetings and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) when requiredEnsure that tools are stored in the appropriate location once usedReport incidents and near-miss events to his supervisor on dutyAlways wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during own work shiftAttend all emergency drillsReport to the Mechanic Foreman Offshore. At the discretion of the Chief Engineer, may report to other functions onboard the vessel Engineer Carry out shipboard maintenance and repairs, contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned ore periodically unmanned engine room. Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of his responsibilities.
