I have a working landscaping foreman role to start in January for a full-time position with one of my clients.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.You will be working on high-end projects throughout Essex, North London, and maybe central London.London, North London, and Essex Full-Time, after completion of the 3-month probationary period.Probationary period on a self-employed basis.- 40 hours plus overtime Role and responsibilities • To manage garden build projects on site from start through to completion.Duties to include:- Engage in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping in a 'hands-on’ capacity, as necessary to bring a project to completion- Attend pre-build site meetings with client and senior manager as required- Prepare and maintain a daily/weekly work schedule for current and upcoming projects- Prepare and lay-out sites from scale plans- Manage a team of Landscape Assistants/Labourer and delegate tasks and responsibilities as appropriate- Liaise with clients on a daily basis (where possible) and check they are satisfied with the project delivery and are kept informed of any issues, changes or amendments/delays to the work schedule.Address any concerns or queries raised by the client where appropriate or refer to senior management.- Liaise with Project Manager/Senior Managers daily with an update on progress and report any issues, developments or schedule changes- Liaise with suppliers regarding scheduled deliveries and act as a point of contact on site- Monitor stock materials on-site and report any anticipated shortfall to the Project Manager (or order additional materials where possible) in good time to ensure minimal disruption to the work schedule.- Ensure the site is kept clean, tidy and in a safe condition at all times, and that all tools and materials (including hired equipment) are kept in good condition and protected from damage or theft.- Ensure the property of the client and client’s neighbours is treated with respect, protected from damage and kept secure at all times.- Monitor staff attendance, timekeeping, work ethic and general behaviour on-site and report any concerns to senior management- Ensure site safety is maintained at all times and that adequate measures are taken to protect anyone entering or in the immediate vicinity of the site (including staff, agency workers, sub-contractors, clients and members of the public).Ensure that appropriate PPE is worn on-site at all times and safe working practices/Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.- Ensure all work on-site is carried out competently and to a high professional standard.- Represent ED at Industry and Association meetings where needed.- Attend relevant training and development courses where appropriate- To photograph and document the site build on a daily basis and upload the images to the relevant job bag link on Dropbox
