You are, of course, experienced and well qualified, ideally with a joinery bias, possibly within ceiling, partitioning, or mezzanine installations. Your communication and stakeholder management skills will be second to none. You will be able to demonstrate the skills and flexibility required to deputise in a small team across all aspects of construction including design, pre-construction, and commercial management. You will always have one eye on the customer and will set high standards for quality of delivery and behaviour. You should be able to work on your own or as part of a team and be able to organise your own and your team’s time efficiently.Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for:* Managing installation and refurbishment projects on various sites* Planning the project activities and co-ordinating resources* Managing suppliers and contractors for projects* Setting and agreeing budgets and managing reactive works* Executing works to an excellent standard and working with stakeholders to facilitate softlandings* You will be adept at applying and adapting project methodologies, but not at the expense ofdelivery and will be able to demonstrate a strong record of getting the job done.* Overseeing and ensuring that HSE-related documents are kept up to date and undertake siteinspections, ensuring that audits and reports are produced, liaising with the necessarypartiesPerson SpecificationEssential Criteria Desirable CriteriaExperience ? Experience of contracts management ininteriors, ceiling fixing, partitioning, ormezzanine installations* Good working knowledge of contractconditions, CDM regulations, designmanagement, building regulations, andprogramme management* Experience of capturing stakeholderneeds, assessing, defining, and justifyingthose needs to arrive at an agreedschedule of requirements usingappropriate communication andengagement channels* Experience of identifying and monitoringrisks and issues, planning how to mitigate/ respond to those risks and issues andimplementing the responses* Experience of clearly defining roles,responsibilities and accountabilities andestablishing controls and approval routesappropriate to each stage of the projectto monitor project progress andcompliance, including project reviews* Experience of being self-employedwithin the construction industry* Experience of working in a small teamSkills ?
