Welfare Rights Assistant (p/t 28 Hours - 12 month contract)

This role will provide advice and support in relation to welfare benefits, advice and income maximisation.You will manage your own caseload and provide essential support to our tenants whilst working closely with Welfare Rights Officer. Knowledge of the benefit system and providing sound advice to our customers is essential to the successful outcomes of the post.You will also work alongside our Customer Services Team to provide support both by referral as well as direct targeting of customers who may require support.You should have a non-judgmental approach to supporting customers and be committed to achieving the best outcomes for our tenants.
