Welder and FabricatorETC require a time served Welder/Fabricator to join our busy team in Kilmarnock.Duties include fabrication, welding and fitting both in the workshop and on-site. A wealth of site installation and maintenance experience is essential.Both MIG and TIG welding experience are essential. Experience of measuring, fitting, welding and installation of pipework is also essential.The successful Welder and Fabricator candidate must have the ability to work on a variety of materials (mainly mild steel and stainless steel).Welder and Fabricator Hours of work:7.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday7.00 am to 2.00 pm FridayYou will be required to work overtime as and when required, including weekends. Overtime paid at time and a half.Applicant must be able to work on their own initiative and produce high-quality work from drawings provided.This is a full-time role, initially offered under our standard 3-month probationary period, thereafter if your performance is to the desired level a permanent contract will be offered.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £13.50-£17.50 per hour (Hourly rate offered will be dependant on experience)COVID-19 considerations:All staff are face fitted for FFP2 masks which are worn in social distancing situations
