REED Engineering are delighted to be working with a national organisation to source a Weighbridge Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.On offer for this role is a salary of up to 19,000 per annum, plus overtime for time worked beyond contracted hours.This is a Monday-Friday role with Saturday morning shifts as and when necessary.As the Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for operating the weighbridge to determine the tonnages of materials arriving on site.Efficiency is key in this role.Other duties of the role will include, but not be limited to -Identify the type of material entering the weighbridgeLiaising with suppliers and drivers to direct them to the correct area for inspectionEnsure the correct use of PPE by all arrivals on siteUse of radio to agree visual inspection and grade of materialLiaising with General Manager for material that is rejected or quarantinedUse of internal system to enter the details of the delivery - inclusive of grading information, deduction etc.Printing of record of delivery for supplier and company records To be suited for this role, we are sourcing candidates who -Have worked with weighbridges previouslyHave string numeracy skills If you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period If applying directly by e-mail, please ensure you answer all of the qualifying questions listed below.Do you have a notice period?Have you worked as a Weighbridge Operative previously?
