We require a Walk out Technician to be based in our Newcastle office.This role will support the (PMO) Project Management Office by managing all the planned route walk outs, assessing the environment by providing the detail of all site works, regarding all permits and traffic requirements, you will be providing a comprehensive schedule to the commercial team, and work to the project plan to meet all milestones.Walk out Technician - Key Responsibilities:Prove service routes by assessing and detailing full commercial implications i.e flag counts – 10% ruleAssess all permit and traffic management requirements in a detailed application formatManage workflow to schedule of works and commercial arrangementsManage all on site route issuesManage the planned walk outs per PMO time restrictions and plans and liaise with the commercial team to plan future work scheduleDiagnose errors and technical problems and determine and provide solutionsProvide timely and detailed services reportsWork closely with the technical teams and share information across the organization structureUnderstand the customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings to support thisSponsor new ways of working which would improve delivery and service then support any activities being undertaken to implement changePerform multiple field walk-out assignments on a daily basis over varying terrain and in weather conditions as encounteredHand Draft (sketch) field routing plan for the location.
