10/02/2021 You will be the first point of contact within the Care home coordinating and supporting the regulatory process to ensure safe visiting for our residents and their relatives within the home environment. Coordinating and appointing visiting times, ensuring the preparation of the safe and designated meeting area and its sanitisation before and after each session. Supporting and assisting the residents and family to complete their safe and enjoyable visit. Recording of temperature checks, supplying and ensuring correct PPE is worn and maintaining full commitment to the procedure, following government regulatory guidance on social distancing and safe visiting practice. You will be both arranging and fulfilling with residents face to face and virtual visits; planning in times, confirming the arrangements, making sure these are well timed, diarised and concluded to the satisfaction of resident and relative Job Requirements This position requires a friendly, organised person who will enjoy the communication between families and having a good understanding of maintaining a Covid 19 free environment At times where visiting is not taking place you will be expected to support other units e.g. domestic and kitchen staff with shifts.
