UK Technical Manager - Flat Roofing

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for advising on all technical matters within the company.Requirements: * 10 years+ technical experience * Extensive Technical knowledge in the Flat roofing * Black CSCS card/ NVQ 6 * A level/ Degree level education * Experienced in management of systems and technical design.Key Responsibilities: * Developing and maintaining company Technical Policy. * Review specification for suitability detail design etc. * Check design calculations (wind, thermal, condensation, drainage). * Maintain and audit Company activities – 9001, 14001, 18001 – IMS. * Review new products from system suppliers. * Maintain contractor viewpoint on Industry bodies (NFRC, SPRA, LRWA). * Ensure information on regulatory and legislative changes etc is effectively communicated to the Board. * Continuous input on new technical protocols and standards i.e. British and European standards, ACR Publications and Guidance notes, NFRC and SPRA information sheets. * Development of environmental KPI’s in conjunction with the company Environmental Committee. * Be actively involved in resolution of customer complaints; site visits and detailed reports to the Board and customer. * Attend quarterly HOH&S meetings.Interested?Please apply via this advertisement or call us directly for a confidential chat.
