Trainer – Maintenance Engineer & SAP Super User Location: Fife Salary: £25-30,000 benefits We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance planner Engineering Stores Co-ordinator, to fill the following Trainers role.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.This will be a 6-12 month contract As a key member of the Engineering and Maintenance team, the Maintenance and SAP trainer will be the key link between the central training team and the site based end users.You will be responsible for rolling out the necessary training to all key personnel within the engineering and maintenance function.The role will be responsible for updating central documents and circulating at site level so all end users have the correct SOP/ for the maintenance elements of SAP.The role: Undertaking training as outlined by the central teams and developing training that can be cascaded to manufacturing site based personnel particularly the engineering teams Updating relevant documents so training can be cross referenced as and when required.Updated and storing all training material and sign offs for future reference.Ensuring shift based SAP experts are circulating the knowledge in way that is understood by the end user.Highlight issues/tasks that affect safety, product quality, execution of plan and compliance to KPI’s to Maintenance Team and Operations The person: Maintenance Engineer, Planner or Engineering Stores experience Knowledge of a maintenance system – preferably SAP Training or coaching experience would be preferable Experience of managing or carrying out frontline maintenance preferably in FMCG Able to train people in a manner so that the knowledge is retained.Skills in influencing others with the ability to negotiate Computer skills, Excel, Word and capability to operate MP2 Must demonstrate assertiveness and confidence to take an active part in meetings with fellow employees and external contractors at all levels Highly numerate, with analytical thinking, ability to support the Maintenance Team, Operations and others with decisions and judgements.Ability to work in a changing environment generating ideas and solutions Attention to detail and ability to prioritise work load Highly motivated and a strong team player with good people skills, having effective written and verbal communication skills across a range of contacts, both within the organisation and beyond.The ability to flex hours of working Knowledge of the Packing and Process equipment Having a basic knowledge of plant product flow streams and how items of equipment can affect plant efficiency and quality of product Having a personality to accommodate fast changes in production/equipment demands To apply please email your CV
