We offer an opportunity to start a career in logistics, working within our Customs, Freight Forwarding and Port Operations departments with a combination of in house learning supported by Industry accredited training schemes. You would be required to move around various departments undertaking 3-4 month placements in each role to gain a good understanding of the different aspects of our business. Ships agency We handle various break bulk small coaster vessels in the River Forth mainly Kirkcaldy , Burntisland and Grangemouth with cargoes such as wheat , timber and recycling products. Dealing with Pilots , Stevedores , River Navigation authorities , Shipowners and Charterers. Containers operations We handle port operations in Grangemouth and Greenock for a major short sea feeder operator with container services to Antwerp , Rotterdam and Liverpool. Customs Procedures You will be trained in HMRC customs clearance requirements for both Import and Export using on line systems such as Destin8 and CNS covering most UK ports.
