Burnley College are seeking a Trainee Lecturer in Engineering, to join our award winning Engineering division to be responsible for maintaining high quality records, providing timely information and thoroughly planning and evaluating the effectiveness of teaching.As a trainee Lecturer your contact teaching hours, relevant to subject specialism, will increase as you gain in skills and experience. With knowledge of current issues in engineering you will teach effectively on a range of engineering programmes across the division’s curriculum and provide effective tutorial and pastoral support. Your responsibilities will include accurately assessing and monitoring student work to assure high achievement and progression and to contribute fully to divisional and College teams including sharing best practice and being involved in developing the curriculum. The salary for this post is up to £31,184.
