JOB TITLE Train Validation Engineer - TVE DURATION Permanent LOCATION Barcelona, Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda PURPOSE OF THE JOB He/she leads the Validation activities and support Certification actitivies for the Train level during project execution. He/she commits and manages QCD for Validation and activities bounded with Certification.  MISSIONS Responsibilities Accountable for : Implementing the standard process and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure Certification and Validation efficiency Availability of test procedures approved in due time and in line with train maturity Test Execution and Test Report Ensuring the timely issue of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidating Validation files Responsible for : Reviewing part of the Sub-System Validation Plan relevant to test at Train level and accepting (to be included in Train Validation Plan) or rejecting considering other possibilities Managing and executing the Train level validation activities, creating and updating the Validation Plan Managing the Validation (CV) project team & request the necessary ressources Approving Train System handover Approving reviewing Train Test Procedures / reports Ensuring the timely issuing of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidates Validation files Managing the validation schedule, optimizing the validation sequence in relationship with the train design and configuration maturity and test means availibility In accordance with test specifications, defining the most appropriate testing methodology, tools & means (chamber, track, train, ...) thru writing train test procedures and a specification of tools and means Ensure that the tests executions are executed in the respect of Alstom's EHS rules JOB SPECIFICATIONS Knowledge & Experience Experience in team and project management : 1 to 3 years depending on team size, multi-metiers or multi-sites team and project, including Customer and external stakeholders Technical Management Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) : at least 2 years Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools Tests execution capability Knowledge of Standards & Regulation Fluent in english Required electrical habilitation level, for instance (french definitions) : B2V - B2V Essai - BE Essais - BR - BC H2V - H2V Essais - HE Essais – HC Team size He/she manages about 1 to 5 persons Innovation Force of proposal for validation methods/tools improvement (from a quality, duration and cost point of view), in particular to decrease the time spent on trains An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
