Technical Services Manager / Engineering Manager

CBRE are looking to employ a Technical Services Manager / Engineering Manager based at our clients office in Beeston, Nottinghamshire.Key Accountabilities Provide leadership, and that contractual commitments are met and exceeded. Management/Supervision of M&E teams including Hiring, Training & Development and all other HR related activities in accordance with CBRE policies and procedures Accountable for the delivery and financial performance of the M&E self-perform and supplier contracts, takes ownership of review and stewardship of PPM and demand request work whenever required Ownership and responsibility for all critical, essential and non-essential equipment and compliance to all statutory and technical SLAs/KPIs requirements Leads development of forward investment planning (5 year plan) for all structural, fabric & technical building systems. Provide Project/Programme Management for delivery of asset replacement/repair/refurbishment projects in line with processes to meet CBRE and client business controls Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts. Responsibilities Acts as an Element Driver for client operations management systems, (i.e. Permit to work) stewarding compliance with system requirements and supporting colleagues with training and understanding Plan and undertake procedures, regular checks and routine inspections with the engineering team Provide a safe, healthy and secure workplace with responsibility for all QHSE compliance for both CBRE and customer safety systems Appointed Person representative for the account (electrical bias, ideally with mechanical experience). Carry out Risk Assessments for engineering, maintenance and repair activities Manage all Significant Event Reports for all building infrastructure related incidents Manage all technical training requirements including competency assessments and scenario training exercises Providing technical excellence for the account, driving the standardization of best practices. Ensuring all regular client meetings are held whilst meeting the needs of the client. Promoting and maintaining the core Values of CBRE Managed Services. Support any reasonable request to meet business needs / prioritise when requiredCommunicate, document and obtain correct approvals for all project variationsComplete all projects within agreed timescales, budgets in accordance with specification and quality requirementsEnsure effective technical handover and integration of Asset Replacement / Technical projects in accordance with relevant best practiceChampion technical solutions and innovations through partnership with the wider CBRE network, mentoring and growing the engineering standard throughout the account for consistency. Essential Criteria (Skills, Education & Work Experience)Engineering degree or equivalent qualification (mechanical or electrical engineering)Relevant Health & Safety qualification (ISH/NEBOSH)Experience within technical operations, solutions and standards (Facilities Management). Knowledge of Maintenance Standards and Best Practice in Operations & Maintenance Discipline Good commercial and finance understanding.
