Support Worker - Waking Nights (Belfast/Lisburn/Downpatrick)

We are currently recruiting for permanent Support Workers for our Supported Housing Services (Move in to Move On) which provides supported housing for young people who are homeless or leaving care to make the transition to interdependent living and their own tenancy. Please note these are predominantly waking nights positions. Three 12 hour shifts per week, with 1 weekend shift every 5 weeks. Positions available in Belfast, Downpatrick and Lisburn.You will work on a one to one basis with the young person to Find accommodationSet up and maintaining your homeGive advice and mentor on being a good neighbourManaging money and applying for supportTraining, education & job seekingStaying safeManaging their emotional wellbeing & physical health We are looking for candidates that are able to build relationships with young people, providing advice and guidance with empathy. That have a knowledge of the challenges these young people have faced and will face.
