Support Worker - Adult Learning Difficulties

Support Workers - Adults with Learning Disabilities Hays Social Care are seeking experienced Support Workers who have experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behavior who can adapt to working in a variety of organisations who are passionate and dedicated to providing support to vulnerable individuals. Successful candidates will have the ability to be able to identify the needs of individuals who have Autism, ADHD, Asperger's and other underling additional support needs.You will have the capability to be able to manage complex situations as they arise and be experienced in dealing with a wide range of needs ensuring that individuals are kept safe and secure at all times. A real understanding and compassion will enable these vulnerable groups to develop their interests and assist with everyday living including some personal care and health needs whilst actively encouraging independence. Main duties will ensure their health and well-being are a priority and that they are support emotionally day-to-day which may involve , assisting with household chores, establishing in-house activities and providing general emotional support. Please note candidates who are considered must have a minimum of 6 months experience within 2 years working with and supporting adults with learning disabilities.
