Support Worker

The Badenoch + Clark, Care and Communities team are currently recruiting for an experienced Wakefield-based Support Worker.As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to empower homeless client groups with varying complex needs supporting and promoting their journey towards independent living.Responsibilities Include:*Creating and delivering person-centered support plans and identifying goals with the active involvement of the customers*Reviewing needs assessments, risk assessments, and support plans regularly*Ensuring risk and safety is assessed*Supporting the customer to live an independent lifeThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:*Proven experience supporting vulnerable client groups *An understanding of positive behavior support and a proven ability to work in a person-centered way*Working knowledge or a good understanding of Social Care*Good listening and communication skillsRole: Support WorkerLocation: WakefieldSalary: £17,000 - £20,000 (depending on experience)Hours: 40 (full time)Contract: PermanentFor immediate consideration please email Rochelle Burke who is the leading consultant.Badenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
