Job Ref:4790 Job Title: Stores Coordinator Location: Belfast Type: Permanent Closing date: Close date not set Job Description Bouygues E&S are seeking to appoint a Stores Coordinator to support our Energy from Waste facility in Belfast. Role Purpose:- To manage the stores function at the Belfast ATT facility including close involvement in technical procurement, in accordance with Bouygues processes and policies- To work closely with the facility Operations and Maintenance teams in the development and utilisation of an efficient, effective stores function, in order to optimise plant performance, availability and profitability. Duties:- Co-operate with the Company to ensure that Bouygues staff and all personnel on site comply with their legal obligations for Health, Safety and the Environment.- Assist in the development and implementation, followed by effective management and utilisation, of the site Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).- Monitor maintain and manage stock levels and stores inventory, including plant consumables, to ensure adequate availability at all times. This includes forecasting demands, planning supplies, completing purchase orders and accepting returns.- Close involvement in the planning of plant outages to ensure the required spares are available when required.- Maintain accurate records of purchases and withdrawals to evaluate trends in stock movement.- Locate, assess and select suppliers in conjunction with the relevant supervisor or manager to ensure reliable service.- Working in close co-operation with the site Maintenance and Operations Managers, to negotiate with suppliers and repairers to ensure best value.- Expedite orders.- Manage the stores area to ensure easy identification and location of stock and protection of stock from damage or unauthorised use.- Arrange transport of goods to and from site as required.- Ensure that recorded stock levels are accurate and understood. Desirable & Essential Criteria: Essential:- Computer literate, with a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems as required.- Solid experience in Store(s) management in a process plant or similar.- An understanding of health and safety regulations- Flexible and performance driven, with the commitment, determination and resilience to deliver added value to operational performance.- The ability to communicate and influence effectively, and work collaboratively, at all levels.- Pro active and self motivated, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills- Willing to assume significant personal accountability.- Detail orientated.- A flexible approach to out of hours call out, and changes to working patterns where necessary to the needs of the business.
