You’ll have the ability to: add value, inspire trust and demonstrate pride in your work to ensure you thrive within our business.On the Specialist Services Graduate Development Programme, which starts in September 2020, you will join a team that provides expert advice and services to the business, enabling efficient project delivery while protecting Scottish Water's reputation. You will work with multi-functional teams across Scotland, providing you with an overview of our planning, strategy and capital delivery areas of the business. You will develop your skills around planning, risk management, engineering, construction and project / programme management. You will have a variety of interesting and challenging placements on the 3 year graduate programme and your professional development will continue when you move into one of our engineering roles. We are looking for Graduates who have the determination to succeed and become our future experts and leaders.You’ll be given the chance to stretch yourself on these placements across Scottish Water and across Scotland too by being flexible in your thinking and sometimes in your location.We would welcome applicants with a 2:2 and above (or be on track to achieve a minimum 2:2) in an Engineering discipline (civil, electrical, process, mechanical and chemical) who want to progress their career in the water industry working for Scottish Water. We would especially encourage those graduating with an MEng to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to gain fantastic experience, with a progressive organisation and be supported in your development. Covering the whole project life cycle from a defined intervention to project completion, you will be required to use and develop your skills around Programme and Project Management, Engineering, Construction and Risk Management.Starting salary is: £26,000If you would like to help us create the Scottish Water of the Future then apply by midnight on the 21st Feb 2021.
