Adecco Sunderland are delighted to be working with a client who are currently expanding at their site in Sunderland and are looking for a Site Operator/HGV Driver to join them on a permanent basis. This is a full-time, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working shifts between 6.00 am and 4.00 pm. The salary is dependent on experience.Responsibilities:Receipt, loading and unloading of chemical products from bulk tanks and tankers, ensuring safe handling, repack, transfer and storage/despatch in line with HACCPCarrying out general yard tasks and the building of loads for customer orders, undertaking manual handling and forklift driving (FLT) dutiesProviding additional support to our transport operations, including cover and the making of emergency HG deliveries of packed goods to customers As a Site Operator/ HGV Driver, ideally with some experience of chemical transfer and unloading, you should:Hold a valid HGV licence (preferably Class 1, although Class 2 would be suitable), along with an ADR licence and a current Fork-lift Truck licenceHave the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and prioritise your own workloadBe articulate, numerate and logical/methodical in your approachDemonstrate plenty of confidence and strong communication skills Adecco UK are an equal opportunities employer.
