Shift Technician

Shift Technician required in Grangemouth. You will be working in a large industrial facility, where attention to detail and high health and safety standards are vital. As there will be critical services and plant rooms on site, as well as general maintenance. involved with the maintenance and minor works service covering a wide and varied range of mechanical and electrical equipment servicing large industrial units such as dual fired boilers and heating and ventilation distribution equipment.Work involves the use of analytic test devices, specialist tools, workshop fixed equipment, portable electrical equipment, welding equipment, emergency generators, medical gas equipment (patient use) suction units, geared drivesJob SpecificsContinental shift pattern comprising of 12 hour day & night shift - 4 on then 4 £20.00 Per Hour PAYE + Holiday Pay Weekly Pay Competencies: * Technically qualified Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer* Demonstrable experience of managing and implementing change programmes* Relevant qualification to National Certificate/Diploma Level, City and Guilds, or equivalent.* 5 year's experience in FM and in a hard service contract* Able to work on own initiative, without direct supervision, as well as part of a team* Carry out repairs to a high standardThe hiring company have an excellent portfolio of developing their staff with training and qualifications, which will give you the potential to progress within the business to take your career further.
