Role Responsibility:This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments. We have opportunities for Shift Technicians to join our team based in Cheltenham. As Shift Technician, you will work within a rotary shift pattern delivering planned and reactive maintenance and will respond as necessary to all incidents as directed to minimise business disruption and operational down time. This is a full time role working 42 hours per week covering various shifts. Key responsibilities will include: Undertake all works in accordance with the SLA and KPI’s, site policies Health and Safety rules and regulations. Oversee on-site contractors, ensuring their work is satisfactorily completed. Respond to defects, faults and client requests and work with others to identify root causes to prevent reoccurrence. Maintain records and produce reports as required. Ensure all planned maintenance tasks are completed within the designated time period to enable full compliance.The Ideal Candidate:Requirements: To be successful for this role, you will have experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment and will also have an understanding of the installed building engineering services. IOSH supervise safely, ONC engineering or NVQ3 engineering would also be advantageous. DV or Security Clearance is desired, however we will be willing to obtain clearance for the right candidate.
