About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver / Service Technician to join our Technical Services team based in Christchurch In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and cleaning of parts-washer machines, workshop collections, industrial collections, and allied product sales at customer premises.We predominantly work Monday to Friday (some limited Saturday work required) which enables you to have weekends to yourself.Key responsibilities will include:Inspecting, cleaning and servicing equipment in accordance with the company standards and to the customer’s satisfaction, noting any maintenance requirementsWaste and chemicals are collected, recorded and stored correctlyTransporting of wastes to comply with Dangerous Goods regulationsWe can offer you:A place on our fast growing team where your safety and compliance with driving rules is paramountOngoing training and developmentA feeling of pride in delivering an essential service to our community and working for an organisation that is innovative and value focusedLatest technologies on board trucksOpportunities to grow and expand your driving careerWhat do you need to be successful in this role?A valid NZ Class 4 License with relevant driving experienceAt least one year driving Class 4 trucksExcellent customer service skillsDemonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong time management skillsYou have excellent communication skills with a great customer service approach and have a ‘can do’ attitude. A dangerous goods endorsement is desirable but not essential.
