Service Operations Manager – Renewable Energy (Engines)

What you may not know is that there is a UK Business, who specialise in the Sale, Engineering, Installation and Maintenance of Gas Engine Focused power plants based at their head office in the North West. Along with being a service partner for some of the biggest Engine names they’ve also won multiple International Safety Awards, A Queens award for Enterprise, British Renewable Energy award for Innovation and multiple Business of the year awards.The opportunity exists to join them as a technical expert as a Head of Service – leading and managing the product support team to ensure a high standard of technical expertise.You’ll be responsible for managing the Commissioning, Technical Support, Engine Overhaul/Breakdown, Product Support and Technical helpdesk teams.One of your key performance indicators will be ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction and clear communication.Ideally, you’ll have a BEng Degree and good knowledge of Engines (e.g., Innio Jenbacher etc) most likely within the renewable or power sector. You’ll have good analytical skills and will be comfortable creating clear and concise technical engineering reports and managing a highly engaged set of employees across multiple teams.In addition, you’ll still be able to get hands on and when required will lead the technical support engineers and undertake full root cause analysis.In return is a high salary, 5% matched pension, medical cover and 25 days holiday
