Service Engineer

This global group, one of the leading manufacturers in pumping systems and solutions worldwide, are currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to be based on or around the Reading area (M4 Corridor), attending customer sites, to service, maintain and install new and existing equipment.  You will be apprentice trained ideally electrically bias, but will consider someone who is multi skilled. Providing scheduled and emergency maintenance cover. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:- Fault finding, stripping down and repairing all vacuum pumps and associated plantEmergency break down cover (1 week in 5) Carry out tasks to an exemplary standard in line with pre set performance targets This is a customer focussed role – must be client facing Some installation work is included with the role Complete service reports  Person Specification:-Experienced Field Service Engineer ideally with previous experience of maintaining pumps and pumping solutions Ideally from Vacuum or compressor industryApprentice trained engineer with electrical qualifications 18th Edition Ability to make decisions on site which are in the interest of both the customer and employer Jenrick Engineering always has a wide range of contract and permanent engineering jobs available within the UK
