Position: Service Co-ordinatorLocation: StaffordshireStart date: 03.2021Duration: PermanentHours: 8:30-4:30pm Mon-FriSalary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience + benefitsThe Client:A market leading mechanical engineering company in the water treatment industry with locations throughout the West Midlands and StaffordshireThe Role:Our client is recruiting for a Service Co-ordinator to join their expending team for a start from March 2021. Duties will include:• Providing high quality, up-to-date documentation for all service arrangements.• Motivating and guiding a team of service engineers.• Seeking out, establishing and maintaining relationships with operational contacts within each client.• Making sure that all account and contract details are up to date.• Investigating technical issues.• Accurately recording service times, job costing and invoicing in the Service Department.• Escalating operational issues to senior management.• Proactively developing and retaining key customer accounts.• Maintaining effective control of expenses by regularly examining management accounts and comparisons with budgets.• Assisting in the development of a customer service policy for the company.• Ensure all works carried out are specification compliant and comply with health & safety, environment and other legislation – specifically that a full risk assessment is completed for each site.• To obtain a correct understanding of the client’s requirements.• To prepare the company’s quotation response in accordance with the established procedures for investigation, design, costing and presentation.• To ensure that the documentation received for orders/enquiries is sufficiently informative/detailed to allow the efficient processing of the work.• To process orders in accordance with the established procedures for materials, bought out items, labour and site equipment.• To programme workload to ensure that all resources arrive on site as scheduled, and thereby allow the installation to be completed as cost effectively as possible.• To liaise with the client regarding deliveries of materials and the installation programme.Requirements: * Degree level, HNC or HND qualification in engineering discipline * Working knowledge of the UK water industry. * Experience of preparing engineering drawings for the manufacturing industryAbout Us:Integrate Engineering Resources Ltd provides a dedicated recruitment service to the Engineering Construction sector.
