Senior Purchasing Specialist in Bath Procurement Manager job in Bath, £38,000 - £44,500 per annum, permanent contract Your New CompanyOur client, a public-sector organisation in Bath are currently recruiting for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to replace a recent retirement within the team. Your New Role You will undertake the strategic procurement of Goods, Services and Works whilst cooperating in partnership with key stakeholders across the Specialities . Within that you will support the divisions through leadership on contract claims but also dispute resolution to ensure contract compliance, delivery and performance which is also inclusive of annual non-pay procurement plans. Furthermore, you will manage and develop the Procurement Service Line Team to deliver effective procurement for a diverse customer base and to support the model of care for the health community. What You'll Need To SucceedYou will have previous public-sector procurement experience, working within the health sector specifically whilst being accredited with being a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply. In terms on knowledge and experience, you will need Significant purchasing/ contracting experience again including non-pay planning with record of demonstrable financial savings Achieved. The ability to lead, manage and develop a team with direct relation to this in previous experience or roles. Lastly, be fully conversant with public sector Procurement rules, policy, legal Framework and the understanding of supply chain management, models and process. What You'll Get In Return This role is being offered with the salary between £38,000 and £44,500 per annum with full time working hours of 37.5 each week.
