The Senior Network Architecture Consultant will provide clients with structure and leadership to shape their network strategy and transformation plan accelerating our clients to execution. Our Network Architecture Consultants will focus on all the connectivity elements between the Application (in the Cloud or in the Data Centre) to the endpoint wherever that may be including Technical Security Controls, Cloud Networking, Data Centre Networking, SD-WAN and WAN, SASE, Wired LAN, Wireless, Remote Access and Software Defined Perimeter. The Consultant will be highly experienced with developing business aligned, commercially astute network strategy and transformation programmes. Our clients will look to the Senior Network Architecture Consultant as a guiding light in their journey to effective, secure, pragmatic connectivity. The primary objective of this role is to work with clients to address a client’s organisation needs. They participate in the delivery of the client’s business transformation by using Information Technology to create new business transformation opportunities. They develop and maintain knowledge of evolving trends in one or more emerging technology areas aligned to the NTT Technology Transformation consulting practice and apply these to define opportunities for client organisations to deliver new business capabilities, profitable business growth as well as competitive cost efficiencies. The Senior Architecture Consultant engages with clients as varying levels of client stakeholders (either existing NTT clients or new accounts) as consultants and recognised as trusted advisors who work with clients on billable engagements. Consultants might rely on additional resources such as Solutions and Technical Architects and Enterprise Architects to support them on billable engagements. Consultants are also responsible for advising clients on our services offers. As a Consultant you will be required to act in a pre-sales / non-billable capacity to build consulting funnel / billable engagements. Architecture consultants typically have a good breadth and depth in their specialisation understanding the commercial, technology, integration and operational concepts. The Consultant is able to contextualise these into functional roadmaps that enables clients to delivered desired benefits and outcomes. The Senior Transformation Consultant will provide Sales and other business areas within NTT with support to convert new accounts and create high value service consulting sales opportunities for these clients. They are subject matter experts with excellent business acumen, preferably with experience within one or more industry or horizontal domains. They work closely with internal stakeholders and leverage their knowledge and experience around technology as well as their chosen vertical industry knowledge and provide information and support to these stakeholders that will enable successful sales and services engagement with the client. As a senior consultant with the Technology Transformation Practice, they will be responsible for the development of business outcome related solutions for clients and create / support funnel and pipeline creation of consulting engagements. Individual Key Performance Indicator metrics noted as: • Achieve 50%+ billable days (110 days per annum) • Achieve a personal revenue target of £130k+ from consulting billed work • Create compelling recommendations that pull through wider NTT High Value Services of 10 x Order Entry • Engage in 10+ client meetings per month • Create 4+ compelling client qualification slide decks per month, which in turn result in 50% Statement of Works where projects are delivered • Succeed engagements with client endorsements and Case Studies (measured as 40% of overall engagements) for internal and external publication • Lead with standard Consulting Assessments in the main with bespoke high value engagements used to develop wider pull thorough for NTT • From a reputational perspective, ensure as a thought leader you are lifting your personal profile as well as UK&I Consulting within NTT and externally • Ability to measure success within client engagements with direct and indirect cost saving recommendations Viewed by customers as a high performing and conscientious consultant with integrity whilst moving into a trusted advisor position. Defines client needs, determines a strategy and develops a plan/proposal for delivery of the project which generally leads to a client’s internal process or function being modified for improved efficiency and effectiveness. May involve the recommendation to shift future performance to a third party. Working at NTT Key Roles and Responsibilities: Works closely with internal stakeholders in consulting development and other business development activities to create engagements that serve the client and utilise the consultant and wider team. Responsible for reviewing strategies and addressing a client’s organisational business problems and needs by providing recommendations. Use extensive experience to identify and analyse client problems providing NTT Ltd with opportunities for client market share. Outline the end to end solution set to enable the client’s business transformation through the use of cloud. Actively ensure erroneous decisions which will result in serious impacts to project costs and customer commitments are minimised and avoided. Use comprehensive business and technical experience to estimate scope of consultant and/or architect resource(s) effort and accurately estimate complex project time required for completion. Continuously search for opportunities to innovate solutions for the client thereby improving client’s business outcome and ensuring business development for NTT Ltd. Lead and proactively support client facing workshops by collecting, reviewing and analysing both IT and business issues. Review the design and update methodology required to address IT and business issues in a professional, knowledge sharing manner enabling the client organisation to achieve their stated outcomes. Review and update strategic documentation (including detailed business plans) relating to business transformation initiatives. Review and update roadmap documents and business cases. Undertake regular reviews to ensure outcomes are aligned to agreed deliverables. Maintain Vertical specialism and cloud and network knowledge by staying abreast of current trends and best practices. Continuously monitor client satisfaction and ensure the completion of assignments by subject matter experts is driven to a high standard. Collaborate with Go To Market (GTM) and Sales by assisting with the GTM consulting propositions, presales process with clients which may include conducting meetings, writing proposals, proposing solutions and delivering presentations. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Comprehensive domain/industry expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating strong experience in client needs assessment and change management Knowledge and understanding of people, process and technology tooling or methodologies that enhance client industry environment and business needs Excellent understanding of business transformation couple with strategic thinking ability. Required Experience: Extensive demonstrable experience in a consulting or IT role within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment Comprehensive experience in integrating the solutions for particular projects with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices Architectural consulting experience Experience of running discovery workshops, linked to presenting findings back to the client as well as capability to interact and resolve any areas when challenged on findings and or recommendations in a collaborative and successful manner Proven consulting business development and pre-sales experience Management consulting and business transformation track record Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Degree in relevant field Certified Management Consultant (CMC) Relevant industry specific accreditations and/or affiliations
