Senior Mechanical Design EngineerStoke-on-Trent£50,000 - £60,000Integrate Resources Group are actively recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading building services business. As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and implementation of automation equipment.The Role: * 3D Design of Mechatronic equipment including mechanisms; transfer systems, servo systems, robotics, pneumatics, electrical equipment and machine guarding systems. * Hands on involvement at the build and de-bug stage to ensure designs meet performance specifications. * Give guidance and direction to machine build technicians to help them realise designs. * Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, EN and UK standards * Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report * Carrying out site surveys of existing installations * Production of stage reports & presentations * Detailing electrical schematics for build * Liaising with customers & suppliers * Knowledge of Amtech required * Production of detailed design briefs, BOD’s and survey reports. * Carry out all work in a professional manner.Requirements: * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Mechanical Design Engineering Field. * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Project management experience is an asset * Knowledge of all relevant UK building codes and standardsIf you are interested in this vacancy, please apply via this advert and a member of Integrate Resources Group will be in contact to discuss further
