Roofing Quantity Surveyor / Estimator£40,000 - £45,000BrentwoodMy client has an exciting opportunity for a Roofing Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.The ideal candidate for this role must have previous experience as a Roofing QS / Estimator and will be able to hit the ground running.This role is based at their head office in Brentwood, however a mixture of pre- and post-contract site visits will be required across London and the Home Counties.Responsibilities: * End to end project management – you will be required to oversee projects from initial pricing, through to completion * Ensuring accurate tracking of all tender documentation * Preparation and submission of valuations, claims, interim payment applications and final accounts * Cost reporting * Managing sub-contractors * Client liaison * Support the Contracts Manager when requiredRequirements: * A proven career history within the roofing industry * Ability to price and measure jobs * Experience working on projects ranging from £100k – £2m + * Vast experience working on extensive domestic projects * Extensive knowledge of roofing products and material selection * Clear and strong communication skills * Confident and able to work on own initiative * Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft Office – intermediate Excel skillsBenefits: * Starting salary of £40,000 - £45,000 * Excellent career progression * Pension * On-site parking
