St Philip's School has exciting vacancies for some permanent and temporary Dayshift and Nightshift Residential Child Care workers within their Main Campus in Plain's, Airdrie and at their Community House in Blackwood, Lanark.St Philip's School offers young people of all genders aged between 10 and 17 tailored residential care and education .We offer short, medium and long term placements depending on the young person’s needs.The Residential Child Care Worker will provide a high standard of care and support to all young people residing throughout St Philip’s School.The successful candidate will ensure the young people will be kept in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment, ensuring that the work they undertake is in keeping with legislative, procedural and SSSC codes of practice requirements and Care Inspectorate guidance; as well as fulfilling the Promise.Ideally, candidates would have experience within the Residential Care sector and have their relevant qualifications with their HNC and SVQ3.The successful candidate will be flexible, calm and have emotional resilience.This job role will suit an individual who is self-driven and reliable, who communicates effectively and works well within a team. If you feel you have the right values, transferable skillset and knowledge for this role, we would like to hear from you.St Philip’s School offers a competitive salary and benefits package as well as being highly committed to the professional development of all our staff.Salary is dependent on job role and qualifications .Application Packs can be requested from our Administration Department.
