Research Grants Administrator (Part Time, Fixed Term)

The Institute of Criminology requires a Part-Time Research Grants Administrator. The Institute is an academic department with around 55 members of staff (academic, research and administrative/library staff) and is highly active in research, including six specialist research centres. In this role you will provide Principal Investigators with high level grants administration support, in order to maximise research income from a wide range of sources. You will be the primary contact within the Institute in relation to grant applications from external partners, sponsors, and PIs. The primary focus is on coordinating the support process for grant applications, advising on costs and ensuring applications are submitted in time, often to tight deadlines. We are seeking a highly motivated, organised individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance. Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
