Research Assistant in Trauma, Social Isolation and Mental Health

Additional Information: This post is fixed term until 28thSeptember 2022 and 30 hours per week.The Department of Psychology is one of the largest in the country and is acknowledged for its excellence in both teaching and impactful research. Following an excellent result in the 2014 Research Exercise Framework, we have been employing a team of research assistants to contribute to, and participate in, the vibrant research culture within the Department. These positions have contributed significantly to post-holders’ career development–the majority have successfully secured funded PhD places, or been employed in externally funded research projects. We are now inviting applications for a further research assistantship to support the Reader.You will have demonstrated excellence at an undergraduate level (2.1 or higher in a Psychology degree or equivalent), have good knowledge of core areas of psychology, and have experience with conducting research from conception through to dissemination. Advanced knowledge of a specialist area reflecting Departmental interests, or experience with specialist research equipment or methodological approaches, would be a benefit.Interview date – To Be Confirmed
