Renewable Energy Solicitor, Leeds This highly regarded and well-liked national firm now has an opening for a Renewable Energy Solicitor to join the team in Leeds.The firm This role is working directly with the national Renewable Energy team but to be based our Client's Leeds office, the role is supported by a wider team of approximately 40 lawyers in other practice areas including real estate, construction, corporate, environmental, disputes.The role You will be working on a range of matters including: · Power purchase agreements· Low carbon subsidies/support regimes· Energy supply contracts· Ofgem licensing· Optimisation/balancing services contracts· Energy services contracts· Grid connection arrangements and private wires.· Familiarity with technologies including solar, wind, battery storage, energy-from west, EV charging infrastructure and districting heating would also be an advantage.More about you:· You will be a qualified solicitor with upwards of 3 years' PQE in renewable energy matters; this includes commercial and/or regulatory experience as well as those with projects or transactional experience within the sector.· You will be looking for an opportunity to progress your career within a friendly professional team· You will have gained your experience within a recognised practice or in-house· You will have a solid academic profile and the ability to tackle complex issues· You will be highly committed to excellent client careBenefits:· Opportunity to work with a national client base within an excellent working culture. · The firm has regularly featured in the Sunday Times 100 best companies to work for· Benefit from working with top rated experts in the field on high quality work without the high demands of the top tier· Flexible working options· Highly competitive salary packages If this is Renewable Energy Solicitor role appeals to you, please get in touch to find out more.
