Renewable Energy Project Manager UK (England or Scotland)ERM has a long established presence in the UK and Ireland with a diverse portfolio of projects across a range of sectors. As part of a wider strategy to further grow our renewables team in the UK we are looking to recruit a strong project manager to support our growing Renewable Energy portfolio of work. As we transition to a low carbon economy, society is evolving to manage the risks and seize the opportunities. ERM supports clients through the low carbon transition, turning boardroom strategy into on-the-ground actions. To support this, we are investing heavily in the all areas of the low carbon energy transition space and Renewable Energy and Hydrogen is at the core of our strategy. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to play a role in how renewable energy will help achieve the NET Zero commitment.The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in the consenting, permitting, and environmental and social impact assessment topics and prior experience in applying these expertise in the renewable sector (onshore and offshore). Currently, we are working from home; and work location for this position can be discussed.Role responsibilities The Consultant will act as the Project Manager / Coordinator and support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and renewable projects in line with our vision, values and our strategic imperatives. Your role will be primarily focused on project delivery whilst contribute to client relationship development and business development.Main responsibilities are (not limited to):Conduct, manage and deliver renewable energy projects; working with project team members closely to complete tasks within project scope, budget and schedule requirements;Ensure that project team members are clear on quality standards on project deliverables to ensure service excellenceWork as the point of contact as when required to communicate with clients and project teams and Partner-in Charge Work as part of the consulting engagement teams across the range of renewable projects, and contribute to the business development process which may involve proposal writingSupport the growth and development of ERM’s capabilities related to renewables by actively collaborating with colleagues across the globe and driving innovation within our technical community to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the marketCapitalize on existing client relationships to expand ERM’s profile and market share through a combination of excellence in technical delivery and business development supportFrom time to time, intra-UK and overseas travel to client locations and other ERM offices may be required after COVID.
