Regional HR Business Partners (x 2)North West / North Wales base (Head Office in Ruthin with UK travel required - estimated 50% field-based)The Jones Bros Group has been operating for over 50 years and predominantly provides complete civil engineering solutions for a range of projects across the UK via the deployment of a highly skilled, mobile, flexible workforce. We have an extensive track record in Renewables and energy, Waste management facilities & landfill engineering, Highways & Rail, Infrastructure including business and industrial parks and Flood, Coastal & Marine Infrastructure.To support of the delivery of these projects, we continue to develop our in-house expertise, employing over 500 people across all project delivery occupations including engineers, project managers, commercial and support staff, works managers and operatives.With a forward-looking Board of Directors embracing change and continuous improvement in order to better support the delivery of projects of differing sizes and complexities, and recognising the key contribution that HR can make, we are currently moving to a new HR operating model to deliver on our ambitious HR plans.Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful candidates will join a small, busy team and work in close partnership with designated business areas to implement and embed a range of people initiatives to drive improved organizational performance. Working roughly 50% of the time out in the field with your client groups, and 50% from our Head Office in Ruthin, your responsibilities will include: * Partnering with leadership and management groups to drive continuous improvement in leadership, team and organizational performance * Working in close partnership with designated Contract Directors & Support Function line managers to drive the effective delivery of ‘HR Annual Clock’ key people processes together with new initiatives * Ongoing development of local organization people plans ensuring alignment with the overall HR plan and JB business strategy * Provision of a professional HR service to relevant people managers, including ER casework * Being a passionate advocate and ambassador for the JB culture, desired leadership behaviours, employee engagement and HR offeringTo be considered for these important and challenging positions, candidates are likely to be of Grad CIPD status, will be true HR Generalists, will be comfortable being mobile and travelling for part of the week, and will be able to demonstrate: * A strong previous background in Strategic Business Partnering within a challenging, multi-site environment with a varied workforce comprising white and blue collar (for example, construction/retail/distribution) * Experience of successfully embedding a range of strategic HR initiatives into ‘Business as Usual’ (BAU) * Strong ER exposure and experience * Highly developed coaching, communication and influencing skillsMore generally, you will need a high level of personal credibility, flexibility, adaptability and achievement drive.
