Our client is a well established construction company in the Cardiff area, who carry out a range of projects actross the UK up to £20 million typically. Due to ongoing growth they have approached us with the need to recruit a Quality Manager. You will be working within an experienced team that oversee the management of the accredited Quality Management System. You will ensure that compliance is to the correct standards and you will be the appointed representative for external compliance. This role will form a key part of the construction projects as you will need to liaise directly with Internal Design, Operational and Procurement resource. You will conduct risk assessments and complete non conformance documents and attend management review and quality meetings. You will strive to ensure that the organisation is able to continually improve its quality procedure, completing internal site audits and providing performance related information against KPI's. The role is extremely varied and will cover elements of almost all of the construction process. Please note - our client typically works across the South so this role will involve some travel during the week. Ideally you will have Quality Management experience in the construction sector and have a good understanding of the role. A full UK driving license is required.
