As a Quality Assurance Technician you will have an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our plant in Westbury near Bristol in the UK. Job Description – Quality Assurance TechnicianThis is a hands-on, dynamic role focusing on every area of compound development from customer brief to lab concepts and full-scale production. Working closely with our Quality and Technical teams, your responsibilities include assisting in the development of new compounds, testing of both compounds and raw materials, creating new or improved mix cycles and playing an integral part in team quality audits. ResponsibilitiesCustomer liaison and communicationLab testing, development, data compilation and reportingDocumentation of processes with a commitment to full traceabilitySupervision and documentation of development mixes on the production linesOngoing development of best practice methodology and continuous improvementWork directly with Quality Manager in quality and process line auditsPromote safe working practicesEnsure all activities carried out are ethical, meet H&S and Environmental regulations and comply with company procedures Your skills and qualifications A bit of an extrovert, you are equally comfortable driving high quality standards among the most junior staff and the senior leadership team. You have strong communication skills and will liaise with customers.
