Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are currently working on behalf of our client based in Belfast to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 6 months. Your new role Reporting into the finance manager you will be given sole responsibility for managing the purchase ledger with the main duties including: Processing large volume of supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner;Processing Daily payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid within the agreed terms;Investigating purchase invoice queries and ensuring queries are resolved as quickly as possible;Reconciliation of supplier statements. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered you should possess previous experience in an Accounts Payable role with a proven record of handling a high volume of invoices. You will be able to work without supervision and possess strong Excel skills and good communication skills. What you'll get in return This role offers an immediate start on a long term temporary contract basis with a possibility of being made permanent. You will be working with a growing company based in Belfast, working in the office which is fully compliant with social distancing regulations. The annual salary will be between £20,000-£23,000 depending on experience and you will receive weekly payments via Hays.
