Project Manager

Project Manager for North West and Central Framework CML require a Project Manager to lead our Asset Maintenance Framework team in Wigan.  The successful Project Manager will deliver client focused management of all projects across our 5-year framework contract for North West & Central with Network Rail. The Civil Asset Maintenance Framework covers all work from / related to the maintenance of structures on the rail infrastructure from Euston to Carlisle. Inclusive but not limited to: Over and under bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, culverts, embankments and drainage. The required maintenance works are varied; inclusive of repairs and installation of, but not limited to the following: Masonry (brick/stone), handrailing, fencing, steelwork, minor scour, earthworks, signage, de-veg and drainage.  Responsibilities: You will be the single point of contact between CML and the client, engaging with them to ensure their requirements are understood and delivered. You will develop and maintain strong relationships on the basis of mutual trust and high standards of contract performance to develop and promote existing and new work opportunities.You will lead and manage all areas of the framework ensuring all projects are delivered to requisite performance criteria, ensuring KPI’s are met in line with client expectations. You will take full ownership of all delivery commitments.As Health & Safety is paramount to the work we do, you must lead and implement professional safety behaviour and culture throughout the business, promoting positive change in everyday activities in your area of influence.You will actively manage and develop your framework delivery team, engaging with all team members to promote delivery excellence. You will coordinate and plan the most effective deployment of all resources. You will be required to effectively manage the safe day to day operation of the delivery depot.  You will work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure commercial budgets are met and to deliver value solutions for our Client. You will take ownership of the delivery programme, delivering on all commitments and using effective planning to ensure jobs are delivered right first time. Experience in railway civil engineering works, and the ability to demonstrate experience in a Project Management capacity are essential to meet the demands of this multi-disciplinary contract.
