Project Engineering ManagerMy client is a modern and progressive Chemical Manufacturing business, with manufacturing sites in USA, Europe and Asia. The West Lothian site is relatively small in terms of personnel but is one of their flagship sites and last year delivered a substantial profit. The business has a fantastic culture geared around trust and mutual respect. They're looking to add a Project Engineering Manager to joint their positve and dyanmic leadership team; responsible for the CAPEX investment program & budget.The RoleThe role would have responsibility for management and delivery of the site's CAPEX budget; managing these upgrade projects and working closely with other functions to drive positive change. As well as looking at the Livingston site, you’d be liaising heavily with your colleagues across the Global Group in order to share best practice, support one another and implement broader group initiatives. You also be working closely with the Site Maintenance, Continuous Improvement and HSE teams to help influence the overall site strategy. You'll be a gegree-qualified engineer with experience in managing CAPEX projects and managing suppliers, contractors and internal engineering teams.The Person * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering preferred. * 5 years of experience in CAPEX Project Engineering required; in the chemical/FMCG industry preferred. * Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks. * Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills required. * Capacity to work with limited supervision and support, in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment. * Must possess demonstrated ability to mentormembers at all levels. * Demonstrated ability to interact in a collaborative manner with other departments, teams and stakeholders.In return, you can expect a very competetive base salary, excellent benefits scheme (bonus, private healthcare) and support in taking your career to the next level.Don't miss out, apply now for a confidential discussion
