1.General Information: Job Title:Project Engineer – Electrical SystemsPosition Reports to:Project Engineering Work Stream Lead2.Job PurposeReporting to the Project Engineering Work Stream Lead, the primary role of the Project Engineer for A3 Electrical Systems will be to oversee that the systems are constructed as per design and commissioning targets are achieved on schedule. The role will also cover overseeing of energizing of the systems as well as LOTO of electrical systems during commissioning activities until handover of the systems to operations. The position will be located at the Pfizer site at San Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain.3.Duration - 18 months4.Project DescriptionThe Pfizer A3 project includes the design, construction, and start-up of a new aseptic production facility for biological drug products at its site in San Sebastian de los Reyes. The project is currently in construction phase.5.Job ResponsibilitiesA3 Project Systems:Earthing & BondingMV Power – Distribution SwitchgearLV PowerStandby Power – GeneratorsUPS SystemsLighting SystemsExtra Low Voltage DistributionSystems – Security, Access ControlBe the project focal point for any design/ construction/ commissioning queriesLiaison with Construction, Commissioning and Operational System Owners of the above systemsOversee that the systems are constructed as per design.Work with sub-team as Owner of the systemsLead the effort: Ensure and contribute to adherence to project schedule.Coordination of any assistance required for the start-up of the systems (vendor, construction, maintenance, operations, calibration, etc.).Manage and approve vendor documentation associated with the systems in coordination with Project Document Control.Be responsible for any Change Control/Documentation Mark-ups of Master documentation (SLDs, etc.).Ensure Mechanical Completion and Documentation of the systems are carried out in line with project procedures.Oversee that any Legalisation requirements are executed in a timely mannerContribute to progress meetings as required, in support of the Project Manager.Regular progress reporting; maintenance and close-out of systems Action Lists.Overseeing and support of energizing of electrical systems to main panels, distribution panels in a safe manner.Manage the Lock Out Tag Out of electrical systems once energized, during commissioning activities until handover of the systems to operations5.ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering with >5 years of experience in similar positions and certified to work on Medium Voltage and Low Voltage systems.Preferences:Experience working on large capital projects – design / constructionExperience in biotech facilityKnowledge and experience with a plant start-upStrong organizational, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.Familiarity with GMP change control requirementsFamiliarity with operating in a fully automated plantFluency in Spanish and EnglishKnowledge in GMP and Pharmaceutical industryDemonstrated skill in identifying, analysing and solving problems.
