Job Duties: Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:Attaching customer material, using tying wire, to jigs for galvanizing.Use of power tools and overhead cranes.Cleaning down and fettling material after hot dip galvanizing.Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line.Ensure all work is completed to specified quality and safety standards.Taking on increased responsibility during night shifts.Ensure the effective implementation of a production quality system.Ensure implementation of company health & safety policies & procedures.Assist in monitoring & management of process baths within factory (acid, rinse, flux, and zinc baths) including acid changes, flux regeneration.Assist in dealing with customer relations (queries, advice, complaints etc.)Positive approach to building relationships within the team. Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Must be able to speak fluent English for communication purposes.Should be hardworking, honest, and reliable.Should be very hands on and be able to work as part of a team but also use own initiative.Desirable Criteria:Ideally have 1 years' experience in either engineering or construction sector or have some sort of labouring background.Forklift license an advantage but not essential.Experience of working on night shift also an advantage.
