Procurement Specialist

An international professional services organisation currently have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their Belfast-based team on a full-time permanent basis.This senior role will see the successful individual work on the organisation’s highest priority projects with some of the UK’s most important public entities.Responsibilities include: Consultative approach in opening up value streams for high-priority national clientsProducing and delivering technical and engineering equipment expertise to effectively establish reduced cost measuresUsing understanding of data visualisation, management reporting and dashboard development to deliver efficiency identification protocolsUnderstanding and identifying relevant contracting and commercial arrangementsContinuous usage of procurement & supply chain expertise to provide highest quality advice and value for clientsIdentifying business growth opportunitiesCriteria:Recent, similar experience in a fast-paced, demanding business environmentRelevant qualifications such as lean six sigmaManagement background within procurement or supply chain or engineeringStrong technical knowledge of cost reduction strategies, efficiency identification opportunitiesHigh-level communication skills, high-level client engagement skillsDemonstrable understanding of business planning, forecasting and cost model buildBenefits:Market leading package commensurate with experienceExcellent additional benefits
