Our client is a global leader in infinitely recyclable aluminium beverage packaging and aerosols, and also provides products and services for the aerospace industry looking for an experienced Procurement Manager.The Role: Evaluate the market for all types of Renewable Energy Agreements, Suppliers and Developers Analyse portfolios by working with Sustainability, Engineering, Real Estate, Commercial and Tax Work with finance to determine financial evaluation criteria Create and lead project teams from across the business Prepare and lead Renewable Energy tenders and work closely with the Manager Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with sustainability, internal Legal, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teams Lead the financial analysis/modelling and business case justification for project opportunities Create written proposals for priority opportunities, and drive agreements Track and maintain project commitments and contractual obligations Maintain an international network of energy suppliers/developers Develop recommended practices to guide risk allocation and risk mitigation The Individual: 5 + years of experience in Renewable Energy transactions with energy suppliers and renewable energy developers Familiar with energy markets and the regulatory landscape affecting renewable energy transactions Degree level education in a commercial/business discipline – finance, economics, business Demonstrated ability to manage complex energy projects and contracts, and deliver results against a fast paced schedule. Project management experience and energy data analysis Financial evaluation models, economics, and risks associated with Renewable Energy transactions
